🏡 Learning Hubs
These sites are teaching tools covering a wide range of topics. In them, you’ll find a mix of both funky and traditional course materials!
🦮 Guides and Tutorials
I make guides whenever I feel like there isn’t a good resource to send my students to, or if the existing resources are a bit too confusing. Many of these sites organize and link to information from other sites to make it easier to find your way!
💡 Inspiration
Besides following tutorials, you can learn by seeing other people’s work! These sites focus on highlighting projects and ideas from myself, my students, and other designers.
🕹️ Toys and Tools
Learning doesn’t have to be serious all the time! These sites are about learning through play. Or, they’re just tools I built to help run GD with GD and my courses.
💾 Archived Projects
Not every project is a winner! Many of my sites ended up not working the way I wanted them to, or were focused on a specific topic or course that’s no longer relevant. But, I keep them here in case they’re helpful to you or if I want to return to them some day!
The Designer’s Guide to Web Programming
I remade this project multiple times and eventually split it into both Cheatsheet and DEMOLAND.
Variable Fonts Workshop 2023
The first draft of the variable fonts workshop type-testing instrument! I had to rebuild the site because I didn’t code the first version very well.
Web Programming Workshop 2022
The second iteration of my workshop on making websites! I ended up using this code to launch my type foundry, Too Much Type.
Web Programming Workshop 2022
The first iteration of my workshop on making websites! I ended up using this design for Cheatsheet!
